At Vilshofen, way down south beside the River Danube, August 1990 Kilo Charlie leading the club line, warm and snug in one of Laarbruch's HAS's (Hardened Aircraft Shelters)
Cessna C172 G-BBKC was acquired in the mid-1980's to replace the Club's first C172 G-LOOK. This picture, copied from a magazine photograph, shows her outside the Clubhouse in her originally red and white livery, before she was re-painted in the Club colours.
Via Chris Lazenby Wearing the Club colours of white with blue cheat-lines, Kilo Charlie poses for the camera on a fine Summer's day. She served until 1996 when she was written off in a landing accident, fortunately without injuries.

The Club's aircraft were the best protected machines in the GA inventory! During the late 80's and through the 90's they were usually accommodated and serviced in one of Laarbruch's spare HAS's.
